Even though Covid 19 has restricted a lot of our work this year, dialogue has continued with the Royal Navy and we are now planning to transfer ownership of most of the aircraft from the ex-Royal Navy Historic Flight to Navy Wings on 1st January 2021.
The exception will be Swordfish LS326, which for a number of reasons has been slightly delayed, but will follow before Spring next year. We are planning to fly the Swordfish W5856 along with the Sea Fury T.20 VX281 and the Westland Wasp XT420 as part of the new Navy Wings Heritage Flight for next year’s display season.
