The Navy Wing’s fund raising night shoot events in association with Threshold.Aero have raised over £15,000 for the Charity and offer a rare opportunity for photographers to capture the Navy Wings heritage aircraft up close at night. At the latest Nightshoot the Navy Wings core collection of aircraft, which include the Swordfish and Sea Fury FB11 were joined by the might of the current Fleet Air Arm’s rotary force with the Wildcat from 815 NAS and the CHF 845 NAS Merlin in attendance. The past informs the future and the Wasp HAS1 joined the other rotary wing in performing ground runs which offered the photographers a unique occasion to shoot the rotors running at night.
