The Fleet Air Arm never seems to get the public acknowledgement it deserves. The impending arrival of Fleet Air Arm Boys Vol 1 was an exciting opportunity to rectify that. We assisted author Steve Bond from the outset in compiling the myriad tales and reminiscences it contains.
This short video is made up of extracts from interviews of veteran flight crew, a senior engineer and a Wren. Our intention is to promote the book as a window into a unique and little known world that has been influencing British and World history for more than a century. It is a book filled with the voices of unsung heroes that we hope will be heard around the world.
