Navy Wings’ very own Laila Sadler is facing her fears by jumping out of an aircraft at 10,000ft in aid of Navy Wings.
‘The stories about these old Warbirds abound, and HEROISM is a major theme – and an easy hook to lead young people to engage with engineering and science.
Talking of HEROISM, I am TERRIFIED of heights. So… if I reach £500 I will jump out of a perfectly serviceable aeroplane and free fall (screaming) strapped to an Army parachute instructor. What’s not to like?’
